Let’s start at the beginning — what’s the story behind your business? What moment or experience made you think, “I need to create this”?

I am the owner of HW Hair Artistry. It has been a long road navigating the hair industry. It never quite felt like home. I have always had a passion for styling, which is the reason I decided to pursue an education when I was young. So, I took a chance on myself and dove into the exclusive world of bridal and event hair right as the industry started to develop its own place in the world. It has been such a rewarding journey.

If someone has never heard of what you do, how would you describe it in a way that feels true to you?

I specialize in timeless bridal and event hairstyles. With 15 years of experience, my passion for creating beautiful hair inspired me to launch HW Hair in 2019. Since then, I have devoted myself to ongoing education, perfecting stunning and elegant styles while embracing versatility in my work.

You’re wonderful! What’s the feeling you’re trying to create for people who walk into your event?

Booking bridal or event hair with me means a luxurious, relaxed experience. High energy, but stress-free! Your hair should feel just as unforgettable as the event it’s for!

Tell us a story about a time you overcame a challenge in your business:

My biggest challenge would be imposter syndrome. I’m a mom of two and a wife, and I live in that head space so much that seeing my work come to life can be surreal at times. I truly love to be creative and try my best to stay out of my own way to enjoy the journey!

What’s next for you? What are you dreaming into right now?

My big dream is to eventually have a small space to call my own. It would truly feel like such a monumental moment!
